Film submissions are accepted continuously, however, the best time to ensure timely previewing for the next festival is between May and October. Unsolicited submissions are not, generally, returned.
We are primarily looking for excellence in filmmaking. Technical flaws, such as poor sound or picture quality, hard to read subtitles or inferior acting won’t get past our team of tough critics.
We also strive for balance in the film selection, so that each festival presents a unified whole when seen in its entirety. Our festival is like a small art gallery: each piece stands alone but it is intended that visitors view the complete collection. One of the most elusive categories continues to be film with comic content.
